- 500 g clams
- 300 g shrimp
- 200 g chorizo sausage
- 1 cup bay leaves
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 tbsp olive oil

Heat the olive oil in a cataplana or a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion becomes translucent.

Stir in the sliced chorizo and cook for about 5 minutes until it starts to release its oils.

Add the clams and shrimp, cover the cataplana, and cook for 10-12 minutes until the clams open and the shrimp are cooked through.

Season with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle with bay leaves just before serving.
