Ingredients

  • 500 grams dried potatoes
  • 300 grams pork meat
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons red chili paste
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • to taste salt

Method

    Soak the dried potatoes in warm water for about 30 minutes until they soften.

    In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.

    Add the pork meat to the pot, browning it on all sides for about 5-7 minutes.

    Stir in the red chili paste and cumin powder, cooking for another 2-3 minutes to combine the flavors.

    Drain the soaked potatoes and add them to the pot along with 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil.

    Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 30-40 minutes, until the potatoes are soft and the flavors meld.
