- 12 pieces canelones pasta
- 500 grams ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.

Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat.

In a bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with ricotta cheese. Mix well.

Fill each canelones pasta with the beef and ricotta mixture using a spoon or piping bag.

Spread half of the tomato sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the filled canelones in the dish, then cover with the remaining tomato sauce and sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is golden.
