- 500 grams salted cod (bacalhau)
- 4 medium potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 6 large eggs
- 50 ml olive oil

If the salt cod is not yet desalted, soak it in water for 24-48 hours, changing the water regularly.

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the sliced onion and garlic. Sauté until they are soft and translucent.

Add the shredded salt cod to the pan and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

In a separate pan, fry the julienned potatoes in hot oil until they are golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

In a bowl, beat the eggs and season with a little salt and pepper. Pour the beaten eggs over the cod mixture in the pan and stir gently until the eggs are cooked but still creamy.

Add the fried potatoes to the cod and egg mixture, stirring to combine everything thoroughly.
