- 1 pcs whole chicken
- 2 tablespoon garlic paste
- 2 tablespoon ginger paste
- 2 tablespoon green chili paste
- 1/2 tablespoon black pepper powder
- 1 tablespoon crushed cumin seeds
- 3 tablespoon lemon juice
- salt to taste
- 3 tablespoon butter
Method
- 1
Take one whole chicken. Put slits on the chicken. Apply lemon juice and salt properly over the chicken and into the slits. Leave it aside to marinate for about half an hour.

Take a bowl, mix ginger, garlic, green chili paste along with black pepper powder and cumin seeds powder.

Apply this mixture to the chicken into the slits. Keep it aside for about an hour.

Apply butter on the chicken and put it in the griller to roast. The timing for griller is 25-30 minutes at 200 degrees.

You can use a desi pot tandoor to do so. Cover the tandoor and let it cook.

Your Butterly Arabic Roast Chicken is ready to serve. Serving it with tomato ketchup, mayo or green chili chutney will be best. I like it raw.
