- 200 g Appenzeller cheese
- 100 g Emmental cheese
- 1 clove garlic
- 300 ml dry white wine
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 bag cubed bread

Rub the inside of a fondue pot with the halved garlic clove. Discard the garlic.

In the fondue pot, combine the grated Appenzeller and Emmental cheeses with the dry white wine.

Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously, until the cheeses melt and blend smoothly.
