- 500 grams mutton or beef, cut into pieces
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tablespoons oil or ghee
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- salt to taste salt
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped
Method

Heat oil or ghee in a pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute until fragrant.

Add the meat pieces and cook until browned on all sides.

Stir in chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften.

Add water, cover the pot, and let it simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes until the meat is tender.

Once the meat is tender, add the cubed potatoes and cook for another 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.

Serve hot with naan or rice.
