- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large egg yolks
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dulce de leche
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Method

In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.

Add the egg yolks and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

Gradually add the sifted flour and cornstarch, mixing until a soft dough forms.

Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the chilled dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.

Cut the dough into circles using a cookie cutter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Let them cool completely.

Spread a layer of dulce de leche on one cookie and top with another. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
