Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method

    In a mixing bowl, combine the gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.

    Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for better flavor.

    In another bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour and cornstarch. This will be used for coating the chicken.
