- 500 grams boneless chicken thighs
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons oil
Method

In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, ground cumin, and salt to create the marinade.

Add the chicken pieces into the marinade, mixing well to ensure all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Preheat a grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush with some oil to prevent sticking.

Skewering the marinated chicken pieces, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.

Remove the chicken tikka from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
