- 1 kg lamb or beef, cubed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 onions finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup prunes, pitted
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon honey
Method

Heat olive oil in a tajine or heavy pot over medium heat.

Add the chopped onions and sauté until they are soft and translucent.

Add the minced garlic, ginger, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper, stirring until fragrant.

Add the cubed lamb or beef, browning it on all sides.
