IngredientsWhat you need
- 2 sticks bacon
- 1 cup minced onion
- 1 tbsp flour
- 3/4 cup bean liquid
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 pkg frozen green beans or 1 can (1 lb) green beans, drained
Method

Brown bacon until crisp. Remove bacon.

Saute onion in bacon fat until yellow.

Stir in flour, add liquid and seasoning; bring to boil.

Stir in beans. Heat through. Sprinkle with crisp bacon bits. Serve.

I use almonds on top also and toast in broiler.

You can use almonds on top and toast in broiler for added flavor.
