Scone Base
What you need
- 500 g flour
- 2 pinches salt
- 6 tsp baking powder
- 120 g butter
- 400 ml buttermilk
- 2 eggs
Method

Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder.

Cut butter into the mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs.

Make a well in the middle of the dry mixture.

Pour liquid into the well.

Mix with a fork.

Put flour on hands and take out mixture onto floured board.

Pat round till right height and use a glass cutter to cut out scones.
Baking
