Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons ghee or oil

Method

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and salt.

    Gradually add water to the flour mixture, kneading until a soft dough forms.

    Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 20 minutes.

    Divide the dough into equal-sized balls (about the size of a golf ball).

    Roll each ball into a flat circle on a floured surface, about 6-8 inches in diameter.
