Ingredients

  • 500 grams octopus, cleaned and cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 400 ml coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • salt to taste salt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

Method

    Heat the coconut oil in a large pot over medium heat.

    Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

    Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another 2 minutes until fragrant.

    Add the curry powder and stir well, cooking for 1 minute to release the flavors.

    Add the octopus pieces to the pot and stir to coat with the spice mixture. Cook for 5 minutes.
