Indulge in a classic Italian lasagna, layered with rich ground beef, creamy ricotta, and gooey mozzarella, all enveloped in savory tomato sauce. Perfect for cozy weeknight dinners or family gatherings.

- 12 sheets lasagna noodles
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 400 g tomato sauce
- 300 g ricotta cheese
- 200 g mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large skillet, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in a little oil until softened.

Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Stir in the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.

In a baking dish, spread a layer of the meat sauce at the bottom. Layer 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce.

Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles, followed by a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers, finishing with meat sauce on top.

Top the final layer with remaining mozzarella cheese.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
