- 500 grams potatoes
- 100 grams potato flour
- 50 grams all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- water as needed for boiling
- butter for serving melted butter
- to taste grams fresh herbs
Method

Peel and cook the potatoes in salted water until soft, about 20 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.

Mash the cooked potatoes until smooth. Allow them to cool completely.

In a bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, potato flour, all-purpose flour, egg (if using), and salt. Mix until well combined into a dough.

Divide the dough into small pieces and roll into balls. Make a small indentation in the center of each ball using your finger.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Carefully drop in the potato dumplings and cook until they float to the surface, about 3-5 minutes.

Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and let them drain.

Serve hot, drizzled with melted butter and sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired.
