- 500 grams beef (chuck or shoulder), cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
- 1 liter beef broth
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 medium carrots, diced
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste seasoning
Method

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the beef cubes to the pot and brown on all sides.

Stir in the chopped onions and minced garlic, and sauté until the onions are translucent.

Mix in the sweet paprika and caraway seeds, cooking for another minute until fragrant.

Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer, and cover the pot.

After 30 minutes, add the diced potatoes and carrots to the pot.

Continue to simmer for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the meat and vegetables are tender.
