- 500 grams black beans
- 200 grams pork shoulder
- 150 grams chorizo sausage
- 100 grams smoked sausage
- 1 large onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon bay leaves
- to taste salt and pepper
Method

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.

Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Stir in the pork shoulder, chorizo, and smoked sausage. Cook until the meat is browned on all sides.

Add the soaked black beans and water to the pot. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, add bay leaves, salt, and pepper. Cover and let simmer for about 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the beans and meats are tender.
