- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tablespoons ice water

In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, sugar, and salt.

Add the butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Gradually add ice water, mixing until a dough forms. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
