Savor the warmth of homemade dumplings filled with juicy ground pork and crisp cabbage, seasoned with ginger and garlic. Ideal for a cozy weeknight dinner or a delightful gathering with friends.
IngredientsWhat you need
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 453.6 g ground pork
- 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 clove garlic
Method
- 1
In a large bowl, combine the flour and warm water to form a dough. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 5-10 minutes.
- 2
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- 3
In a separate bowl, mix the ground pork, chopped cabbage, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic until well combined.
- 4
Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a thin circle (about 3 inches in diameter).
- 5
Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
- 6
Boil a pot of water and add the dumplings. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the top.
- 7
Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
