- 500 grams ground pork
- 100 grams rice
- 1 large onion
- 2 carrots carrots
- 2 liters water
- 300 grams cabbage
- 1 bunch fresh dill
- 200 ml tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- salt to taste salt
- pepper to taste black pepper
Method

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.

In a bowl, mix together the ground meat, rice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Form small meatballs (perișoare) from the mixture.

Add the diced carrots to the pot and sauté for an additional 5 minutes before adding the water. Bring to a boil.

Once boiling, carefully add the meatballs to the pot. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.

Add the shredded cabbage, tomato paste, and a bit more salt and pepper. Continue to simmer for another 20 minutes until the cabbage is tender.

Adjust the seasoning with vinegar, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped dill just before serving.

Serve hot, garnished with additional fresh dill if desired.
