Savor the crunch of a Chiko Roll, a delightful fusion of tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and savory soy sauce, all wrapped in a golden spring roll. Perfect for a fun weeknight dinner or a casual gathering with friends!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup cooked chicken
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 package spring roll wrappers
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method

  1. 1

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrots, bean sprouts, and shredded chicken.

  2. 2

Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.

  3. 3

Take a spring roll wrapper and place about 2 tablespoons of the filling mixture in the center.

  4. 4

Fold the bottom of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides, rolling it tightly to seal.

  5. 5

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat until hot.

  6. 6

Fry the rolls in batches until golden brown and crispy, approximately 3-4 minutes each side.

  7. 7

Remove the rolls from the oil and drain on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

  8. 8

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
