- 1 kg whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 medium onions, finely sliced
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 teaspoons red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 cup fresh cream
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
Method

In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder. Marinate the chicken pieces in this mixture for at least 1 hour.

Heat oil in a handi (traditional Indian pot) over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add the marinated chicken to the handi and cook on medium heat until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 20 minutes.

Stir in fresh cream and garam masala. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cream is well incorporated and the gravy thickens.

Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
