Warm your soul with a fragrant cup of chai, blending robust black tea with creamy milk, zesty ginger, and aromatic spices. Ideal for cozy evenings or a refreshing afternoon pick-me-up.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons black tea leaves
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 pods green cardamom, crushed
  • 1 cinnamon stick cinnamon stick

Method

    In a pot, bring the water to a boil over medium heat.

    Add the grated ginger, crushed cardamom, and cinnamon stick to the boiling water. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

    Stir in the black tea leaves and continue to simmer for another 3-4 minutes.

    Add the sugar and stir until dissolved, then pour in the whole milk.

    Bring the mixture back to a gentle boil, then remove from heat immediately.
