Indulge in a classic American BLT, where crispy bacon meets fresh romaine and juicy tomato, all nestled between toasted bread and creamy mayo. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a leisurely weekend lunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 4 slices bread
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Method

    Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

    While the bacon cooks, toast the slices of bread until golden brown.

    Spread mayonnaise evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
