Ingredients

  • 200 g Edam cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt to taste salt
  • 400 ml vegetable oil
  • Lemon wedges as needed lemon

    Slice the Edam cheese into thick slices, about 1.5 cm each.

    Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with a pinch of salt.

    Dredge each cheese slice in flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs, pressing slightly to adhere.
