Smažený Kapr is a beloved Czech dish featuring crispy, golden-brown carp fillets, perfectly seasoned and served with a zesty lemon. Ideal for festive occasions or a cozy family dinner, this dish brings warmth to your table.

- 1 kg carp fillets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 500 ml vegetable oil
- 1 lemon for serving

Rinse the carp fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Season the fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.

Set up a dredging station: place flour in one plate, beaten eggs in another, and bread crumbs in a third.

Coat each fillet first in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with bread crumbs.
