- 400 ml coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons rendang spice paste
- 3 leaves kaffir lime leaves
- 1 stick lemongrass
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the rendang spice paste and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Add the beef cubes to the pot and brown them on all sides.

Pour in the coconut milk, then add the kaffir lime leaves, bruised lemongrass, brown sugar, and salt.
