Indulge in the aromatic embrace of Qahwa, a traditional Arabic coffee infused with cardamom and a hint of rose water. Perfect for a cozy afternoon gathering or as a warm welcome for guests during special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 liter water
  • 3 tablespoons Arabic coffee
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom pods
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rose water
  • 1 pinch saffron

Method

    In a pot, bring the water to a boil over medium heat.

    Once boiling, add the Arabic coffee and stir well.

    Add the crushed cardamom pods and saffron (if using) to the pot.

    Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 10-15 minutes.

    Add sugar to taste and stir until dissolved.

    Remove from heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
