Ingredients

  • 500 grams fresh prawns
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 skewers wooden or metal skewers

Method

    In a mixing bowl, combine the coconut oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, and salt to create a marinade.

    Add the fresh prawns to the marinade and mix well to ensure all prawns are coated. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

    While the prawns are marinating, soak the wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes if using wooden skewers to prevent burning.
