- 1 cup dried fava beans
- 4 cups water
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 lemon juiced

Method

Rinse the soaked fava beans under cold water and place them in a pot.

Add 4 cups of water to the pot and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 30-40 minutes or until the beans are tender.

In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until it becomes translucent.

Add minced garlic and ground cumin to the onions and cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
