Savor the rich, earthy flavors of Foul, a traditional Middle Eastern dish made with tender fava beans, zesty lemon, and aromatic spices. Ideal for a hearty breakfast or a comforting weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried fava beans
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 clove garlic

Method

    Rinse the soaked fava beans under cold water.

    In a large pot, combine fava beans and water. Bring to a boil.
