Savor the delightful flavors of these homemade dim sims, filled with tender minced pork and succulent prawns, wrapped in delicate dough. Perfect for a cozy weeknight dinner or a fun gathering with friends.

Ingredients

  • 200 g minced pork
  • 100 g minced prawn
  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 12 pieces round dim sim wrappers
  • to taste salt and pepper

    In a large bowl, combine the minced pork, minced prawn, chopped cabbage, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

    Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.

    Take a dim sim wrapper and place a small spoonful of the filling in the center.

    Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and pinch the edges to seal. You can also pleat the edges for a decorative touch.

    Repeat this process until all the filling is used up.

    Place the prepared dim sims in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper and steam over boiling water for about 15 minutes, or until cooked through.
