Indulge in a fragrant Chicken Korma Curry, where tender chicken meets a rich blend of spices and creamy coconut milk. This comforting dish is perfect for a cozy weeknight dinner or a special gathering with loved ones.
IngredientsWhat you need
- 1 small onion
- -13 °C chicken breast, skinless
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 tbsp Korma curry paste
- 1 tin coconut milk
- 3 carrots
- 1 cup baby mielies
- 3 apples
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup chutney
Method

Heat oil in a wok and add sliced onion to cook for a while.

Add garlic (crushed) and chicken pieces (sliced into squares) and stir until cooked on the outside.

Then add the Korma curry paste, tin of coconut milk, chutney and tin of tomato paste. Stir it all in.

Add carrots (sliced like matchsticks), mielies (cut in half lengthways), and apples (peeled and sliced into thin pieces).

When these have been mixed in, add the chicken stock, some salt and pepper and allow to simmer for about 20 minutes.
Notes
Great served with basmati rice and naan bread.
