Indulge in a fragrant Chicken Korma Curry, where tender chicken meets a rich blend of spices and creamy coconut milk. This comforting dish is perfect for a cozy weeknight dinner or a special gathering with loved ones.

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion
  • -13 °C chicken breast, skinless
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 tbsp Korma curry paste
  • 1 tin coconut milk
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 cup baby mielies
  • 3 apples
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup chutney

Method

  1. 1

Heat oil in a wok and add sliced onion to cook for a while.

  2. 2

Add garlic (crushed) and chicken pieces (sliced into squares) and stir until cooked on the outside.

  3. 3

Then add the Korma curry paste, tin of coconut milk, chutney and tin of tomato paste. Stir it all in.

  4. 4

Add carrots (sliced like matchsticks), mielies (cut in half lengthways), and apples (peeled and sliced into thin pieces).

  5. 5

When these have been mixed in, add the chicken stock, some salt and pepper and allow to simmer for about 20 minutes.
