Ingredients

  • 1 kg fresh white sausage (Biała Kiełbasa)
  • 2 cups sauerkraut
  • 1 tablespoon whole black peppercorns
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 liters water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Method

    In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.

    Add the crushed garlic and whole black peppercorns to the boiling water.

    Gently place the Biała Kiełbasa in the pot and reduce the heat to a simmer. Cook for about 20 minutes.

    While the sausage is simmering, prepare your grill for medium heat.

    After boiling, remove the sausage from the pot and place it on the grill. Grill for about 5-10 minutes, turning occasionally until browned.

    Serve the grilled sausage with sauerkraut and garnish with fresh dill. Add mustard on the side if desired.
