- 4 cups water
- 200 grams pequi fruit
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
Method

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the rinsed rice to the pot and sauté for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently.

Pour in the water and add the salt; bring to a boil.

Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Cook for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, add the pequi fruit on top of the rice. Cover and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
