Savor the taste of the sea with this vibrant Seafood Couscous, featuring succulent shrimp, tender white fish, and briny mussels, all enveloped in fluffy couscous. Ideal for a weeknight dinner that feels like a special occasion.
IngredientsWhat you need
- 1 cup couscous
- 1 cup water
- 200 grams shrimp
- 200 grams white fish
- 100 grams mussels
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste seasoning
Method
- 1
In a medium bowl, combine couscous with boiling water and a pinch of salt. Cover and let it sit for about 5 minutes to absorb the water.
- 2
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp, white fish, and mussels. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the seafood is cooked through.
- 3
Add paprika, salt, and pepper to the seafood and stir well to combine.
- 4
Fluff the couscous with a fork and then add it to the skillet with the seafood mixture. Stir to combine all ingredients.
- 5
Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat everything through, stirring gently.
- 6
Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
