Ingredients

  • 1 liter water
  • 200 grams fresh or dried fruit (e.g., apples, berries, cherries)
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick cinnamon stick
  • 2 pieces cloves

Method

    In a large pot, bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.

    Add the sugar to the boiling water and stir until completely dissolved.

    Add the fresh or dried fruit, lemon juice, cinnamon stick, and cloves to the pot.
