- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 large carrots
- 2 large potatoes
