  • 453.6 g ground elk meat
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 buns burger buns
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1 medium onion

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground elk meat, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.

    Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty, pressing slightly in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.
