- 4 tablespoons Arabica coffee grounds

Start by boiling the water in a traditional coffee pot, known as a dallah, or any suitable pot.

Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove it from heat.

Add the Arabica coffee grounds and the crushed cardamom pods to the water. Stir to combine.

Allow the mixture to steep for about 10-15 minutes. If using saffron, add it during the last 5 minutes of steeping.

After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine sieve or a coffee filter into a serving pot or cups.
