- 4 tablespoons Turkish black tea leaves
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teapot traditional Turkish tea pot (çaydanlık)
Method

Fill the larger pot of the çaydanlık with 4 cups of filtered water and bring it to a boil.

Once the water is boiling, add 4 tablespoons of Turkish black tea leaves to the smaller pot.

Pour about half of the boiling water from the larger pot into the smaller pot with the tea leaves, allowing it to steep for 10-15 minutes.

After steeping, pour the remaining boiling water from the larger pot into the smaller pot to dilute the tea concentrate to your desired strength.

Serve the tea hot in small tulip-shaped glasses, adding sugar to taste if desired.
