- 1 kg lamb shoulder, cut into cubes
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 2 medium onions, finely sliced
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons ghee or vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped

Heat ghee or vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the sliced onions and sauté until they are golden brown.
