Indulge in these delightful Chocolate Crunchies, a perfect blend of oats, coconut, and cocoa that create a satisfying treat. Ideal for a cozy afternoon snack or a sweet addition to your dessert table.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1.5 cups oats
  • 1.5 cups coconut
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 1.5 spoons cocoa
  • 0.75 tsp baking powder
  • 0.75 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 270 gm margarine

Method

    Melt margarine and pour over dry ingredients in mixing bowl.

    Mix together.

    Press into swiss roll tin and bake for 30 min at 300 F or 150 C.

    Ice while hot with 1.5 cups icing sugar, 1.5 tsp cocoa and a few drops hot water.

    Spread evenly over top and allow to cool.

    Cut into squares.

Notes

Do not make icing too watery as icing melts on hot crunchies.
